Guess what, Will To Speak Issue #3 is finally out, should be finished at the printer as I am typing this. Long announced, we did not find the time and motivation to finish the zine for a long time, but it's done now. Get in contact with us personally or through will.to.speak[at]gmail.com if you want copies.

In other news, this will probably the last issue of Will To Speak. Thanks for your support. Please start your own zine and go read some books too. Team To Speak.

Yo! It's over a month now since Will to Speak 2 came out. Everything worked out fine, thanks to all the people picking up a copy at the Gorilla Biscuits show in Vienna! We came there with 77 pieces and went home without one - now thats amazing!

yeah, it's true: issue 2 is out now. it took us a while but anyway - here it is. please get in touch if you're interested in getting a copy. a list of people that help us distribute the zine will follow soon.

as you can see, the website got a slight facelift too - we try to change the look for every issue, fitting the current style of the cover, hope you enjoy it.

REVIEW IN THE HEAT #2

"Issue #1 of the Austrian Will To Speak fanzine. Right now it seems like there´s a lot going on regarding fanzines in Austria because I got my hands on quite a few in the last time. Well back to Will To Speak. The 3 guys deliver a rock-solid first issue of about 40 pages. Interviews are conducted with Black Friday ´29, Nothing Done, Attitude, H-Street and Within Walls. An interview is also with people from a vegan catering service and there´s a short photo series with photos of one of the editors. There´s one column in the zine, it would be cool if the next time they would included more than one but that´s just a minor criticism. The layout is b/w and very well done, with quite a lot of eye-candy. As with most fanzines that I read in the last time I´m looking forward to #2."

the folks at three cords published a review of will to speak #1 in their current issue, read what they have to say - german only, sorry.

"Neuer Fanzine Stoff für den Old School Bereich erreicht uns aus Österreich. Auf 44 Seiten gibt es Interviews mit Black Friday 29 (mitm dicken Völler mal wieder auf den Fotos), Nothing Done, Attitude (eine neue kanadische Band auf 1917 Records), sowie den beiden Schluchtenscheißer-Bands Within Walls und H-Street. Bei zweiteren steht obligatorisch das Thema "Re-Unions" im Vordergrund. Alles sehr fein gemacht, allerdings könnte für die zweite Ausgabe noch ein wenig am Layout gefeilt werden und dies den ganz gut ausgewählten Fotos angepasst werden. Ansonsten: thumbs up und weiter so!!!!"

we already started working on issue #2, so expect it to hit the streets in late spring 2007. we will interview some great bands and continue with columns like our photo exhibition etc.

wts #2 will feature interviews with dirty money, anchorsXup, fall apart and more! if you want to contribute in any way, don´t hesitate to contact us and we´ll work something out.

that´s right, the website is finally online. we thought that a "real" website would be a lot cooler than just having a myspace profile (right??). we try to keep this thing updated if something interesting happens in the world of will to speak, so check back from time to time.
